Welcome to the home of Eunice Eiseman's Stanley Bears®, named after their hometown of Stanley, situated in the beautiful sub-alpine region of North-East Victoria 25 minutes off the Hume Freeway, close to the historic old gold mining town of Beechworth.

Eunice has been making teddy bears for 20 years, and specialises in old style teddy bears, after the traditional German, similar in some respects to the bears created by Margaret Steiff in the early 1900s.

The name Stanley Bears® was registered in March 1996, and has become synonymous with a range of original Teddy Bears eagerly sought after by collectors from around Australia and abroad. Stanley Bears® have found homes in the UK, Germany, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark and Japan.

The Stanley Bear Club

Since I began making Special Edition Bears, many of my collectors have added their names to the Special Edition Register. This ensures that they are given preference when a new bear is about to be released. On placing their order they nominate when they would like to take delivery. This can be any time between the release date and the end of the year. I also have lay-by facilities. You can join the Stanley Bear Club by completing the online form at left.

Teddy Bears

Stanley Bears® are after the traditional German, similar in some respects to the bears created by Margaret Steiff in the early 1900’s. I use only fine German mohair and alpaca as well as top quality acrylic. Stanley Bears® are made from my own exclusive patterns, all are fully jointed, and filled with new non-allergenic polyester fibre. I use only safety eyes.

Bears for Collectors

Every year since 1995 I have been making bears for serious collectors, including my Special Limited Editions. Released in April each year they are invariably sold out within eight weeks. Some of the earlier editions are eagerly sought after by collectors wishing to obtain the complete set.
