Level 1 (Basics) and Level 2 (Exploring the skills further)

These traditional skills can be traced to their origins in Europe around 500 years ago. We’ll explore ‘the basics’ on Wednesday by completing some small pictures then extend those skills to a large work on Thursday, as shown here. While we are waiting for our line work to dry, we’ll have time to design a silk scarf (or two) as well.

Butterflies and Dragons, and Other Beautiful Thing
From hand coloured silk and acetate sheeting, we’ll create these creatures and other things so simply you won’t believe it! Add brightly coloured beads, and sequins as you wish. Either full day or evening programs

Garments Galore

We’ll design so many garments I couldn’t possibly show you them all here! Take this opportunity to rejuvenate your wardrobe, and maybe disguise a few stains. Express your personal style with colour, colour and more colour !!!

Fabulous Fabrics

Designing your own fabrics for quilting and patchwork, dressmaking, appliqué … and whatever else you use fabric for … has never been so easy! With Liquid Radiance colours that are safe to use and environmentally friendly, we’ll enjoy exploring the versatility of fabric designing in this two-day workshop. Stay on for Saturday evening, when we create even more amazing patterns using a microwave oven.
