Ballarat Patchwork is a retailer of patchwork fabrics & quilting accessories. We also offer a wide range of books on patchwork, sewing & crafts.
Ballarat Patchwork is owned and operated by mother and daughter, Pam and Emma Jansen. With over 30 years experience between them, they feel confident to provide expert advice and friendly service.
Pam and Emma opened Ballarat Patchwork in November 2002, and over this time the business has grown enormously, as has the stock level, and they have many regular customers. The shop is overflowing with fabulous fabrics, including Kaffe Fassett, Amy Butler, 1930s reproduction, a wonderful range of Japanese fabrics and lots spots and stripes!
Ballarat Patchwork's extensive class list includes visiting tutors like Trish Harper, Deborah Dorward, Judy Newman and many more. We run regular Beginner classes. Pam is an accredited teacher of the "Thimblelady" technique of pain free hand quilting, and offer regular classes in this technique.
At Ballarat Patchwork, we have a large selection of our own patterns designed mostly by Emma and many other patterns by other designers. We are a "specialist" patchwork shop, and look forward to helping you in your fabric selection or quilting project.
