Carol Roberts is the designer and creator of Cherry Pie Designs. Cherry Pie Designs started in November 2004. Carol firstly offered a service to those ladies who had finished tops who wanted them hand basted or the bindings put on and finished.

Carol's designs comprise of needle turn and English piecing applique. This way, Carol can get all those feature shapes just the way she wants them to look. She then gets out the good old sewing machine and stitch all the components together. She prefers to hand quilt but sometimes, time constraints makes her have to machine quilt.

Carol meets and sews with many ladies who are always so encouraging and supportive and of course, we are always sharing new ideas and old ones. This always makes Carol come home and look forward to planning the next project.

Carol's love for Yuwa fabric has led her to add fabrics page on her website. She will be keeping a small selection of fabrics, some that she has used in her quilts and others that she has not.
