Harmony Quilts has a team of passionate quilters. Patricia (Ted) David is an accredited Patchwork Teacher with the Victorian Patchwork Guild. She finds patchwork and quilting the one area she can really indulge her love of colour, textiles, and patterns.
Tony is a Postie. Tony has a passion for colour and is able to help anyone who cannot decide on the perfect border, choose a complimentary fabric or just put a combination of fabrics together for a project.
Matt is our 15 year old son. When Tony and Ted can't look after the shop, Matt is very willing to earn some money. He is also very good at counting the change and cutting the fabric. He is also pretty good with colour and matching fabrics. He made his first quilt when he was 10 and with 3 quilts under his belt now, he knows quite a lot about the family craft and shop.
And Kimar is a little pussy cat who thinks she owns the shop. Kim's aim in life is to "get outside". So when you visit please shut the door, the nasty cars don't tend to stop for little felines.

Thursday morning, 4 weekly classes - $20 per class.
2nd Wednesday Morning or 2nd Thursday Evening of the month. Purchase a panel or bring a small quilt top and learn how to use your machine to quilt it. Pay $10 per lesson for as many lessons as you need. You can start this class at any time as tuition is at a personal level.
This class is great fun! We will be making the Ted's Dilly Bag in April. Join anytime you wish.

Block of the Month
This year's quilt is very purple. You don't have to make it purple unless you want to. The quilt was made for a very special friend for her 21st birthday. It was made over a couple of years. Every time I thought of my dear friend or she had done something exciting I made a block. It is a combination of appliqué and pieced blocks. I have used hand dyed fabrics and bright to get unique effects.
