Adelaide Beads was started by Karin Smith in 2003. Karin Smith is a bead addict who found the only way to get the materials she really wanted was to source them herself; in India, America, China and all over the world.

At the Adelaide Beads store on Glynburn Road in Tranmere, just a few kilometers east of Adelaide, South Australia, Karin prides herself on the wide range of findings, glass beads and other beading supplies.

Karin is especially fond of handmade glass beads and in fact even makes her own. And teaches glass bead making too as well as jewelry making classes.

No wonder so many bead lovers find Adelaide Beads a source of inspiration as well as bead making supplies.
