Easy how-to-make Hammered Loop Earings!

Hot Offer

We are going to put together a lovely pair of earrings that will only take ten minutes to assemble.

The only skills you need for these earrings is to be able to open and close jump rings and make a simple rosary loop. This is a perfect free jewellery tutorial for the beginner beader.

Materials:
  • pair of ear hooks
  • 4 x 6 mm Snapeez® jumprings
  • 2 ball head pins
  • 2 VeeoVogue® rings 27 mm
  • 2 beads we used smoky quartz 12 mm facetted heart beads.

Tools:

  • round nose pliers
  • flush or side cutters
  • chain nose pliers
  • flat or chain nose pliers

Step 1 Image Step 1:

Place the two beads on the two ball head pins. Cut about a 1 cm tail and turn a simple rosary loop.

Step 2 Image Step 2:

Now using your chain nose and another pair of chain nose or flat nose pliers open your four Snapeez® jump rings, make sure you open from back to front not side to side so as not to distort the rings shape.

Step 3 Image Step 3:

Attach one bead per hammered loop using one Snapeez® jump ring and close the ring.

Step 4 Image Step 4:

Now using the second Snapeez® jump ring attach the constructed piece you see left to your earring hook and you have completed one earring.

Make a second pair and you are ready to party.
