Matchbook Birthday Invite
Not your average invitation! Use your scrap paper to make this uniquely styled birthday invite.
MATERIALS:
- Scrapbook Paper
- Stapler
- Knife
- Steel Rule
- Cutting Mat
HOW TO:
- Step 1: Choose 4 co-ordinating papers for your invite. Kaiser double sided scrapbooking paper has been used in this example but any papers will do.
- Step 2: Cut out and score the following pieces of paper.
- 30 x 10cm, score at 2.5cm and 17cm from the bottom and fold
- 10 x 9.5cm, score at 2.5cm from the bottom and fold
- 11.5 x 9.5cm, score at 2.5cm from the bottom and fold
- 12.5 x 9.5cm, score at 2.5cm from the bottom and fold
- Step 3: Decorate the three inside pages with photos and party details.
- Step 4: Insert the pages behind the bottom flap of the cover and staple to hold in position. Cover this staple with a decorative shape as shown in the completed project.
- Step 5: Decorate the cover as desired. Once finished the cover will hold in place when tucked into the bottom flap.
