Beginner's Sampler Quilt with Kath $132

This project will give you skills in constructing a quilt including cutting, piecing, machine appliqué, bias squares, quilting and final construction and binding. Check out our new sampler.

Hand Piecing

(Hexagons, Circles & other designs) with Sandy/Kath $20 session + Templates

 

Piece an “olde world” quilt with the hexagon as the unit. Heaps of variations in the block design, in american piecing method. Work your design in vintage or fresh florals.

• 2nd Tuesday each month 7 pm - 9 pm.

Husqvarna Club with Gael $20 per session

Learn more about your Husqvarna machine and the accessories. A great way to extend your machine knowledge whilst making a lovely gift.

• First Saturday of Month - 10 am - 12 noon.
• On going, join ant time. Please book in.

 

Cream on Cream or Tone on Tone Quilt with Gael $20 per session, pay for 3.

Continues monthly with gorgeous blocks to be made into lovely soft looking quilts. This class provides a wonderful opportunity to explore your sewing machine.

Applique Sampler Series with Sandy $80

Hand appliqué is a rewarding technique to learn for your patchwork repertoire. You will learn many techniques including needleturn, reverse appliqué, circles, cutaway and colour co-ordination. A richly designed quilt will delight you.

• Monday Nights starting July 20th, Aug 17th, Sept 21st & Oct 19th 7-9pm.
• Daytime Class: New Group can start Friday 11am to 1pm starting
• Aug 28th, Sept 25th & Oct 23rd.

 

Shattered Glass Applique with Gael $40

Learn this clever and nifty technique to achieve a lovely design with a shattered glass look. Choice of designs.

Beginners' Ribbon Embroidery with Marlene

Learn the basic ribbon stitches in this class and complete a pretty ot of flowers for a cushion or framed picture. lease register if interested.

Round Robin Quilt with Kath $80

This quilt is designed around a centre appliqué block (hand or machine – you choose) with various borders added for a rich overall quilt, round by round.

Celtic Table Runner with Gael $40

• Wednesday August 26th & Sept 9th 7pm to 9pm
• A very traditional pattern done with hand made bias binding. Hand appliqué is the technique.

Broderie Perse Quilt

Hand Applique with Lisa $40 + pattern

This quilt has a design that is mostly printed fabric that has been cut out and appliquéd with the broderie perse technique. A rich design using Lisa’s ideas will give you a wallhanging or the centre panel for a larger quilt. Check out our display quilt.
