Courthouse Squares - $65 (by Julie, 4 lessons)
Julie's quilt uses the traditional Courthouse Square block which is also known as the Chimney Sweep or Album block. Julie used a Jelly Roll with the addition of a background fabric to make this queen size quilt. Rotary cut and machine pieced.

Scraps for Dinner - $75 (by Luisa, 5 lessons)
Luisa's quilt is made up of 3 blocks: a Dresden Plate, Nine Patch on point, and Square in a Square block. A good quilt to learn rotary cutting and machine-piecing.

• Fridays: Aug. 14: Sept. 4, 11, 18 (1:00pm-3:00pm)

 

Goldrush Table Runner - $75 (by Lynne, 5 lessons)
A great class to learn patchwork and quilting basic. Rotary cutting, machine-piecing, machine-quilting and binding are all covered in this class.

Cottage Garden - $90 (by Dawn, 3 lessons)
Dawn's new quilt is made up of a large star block with flower appliques in the centre and n the border. It is machine-pieced and Dawn has also machine-appliqued her flowers. A lovely bed quilt.

Hand Quilting with Mel - $45.00 (by Mel, 3 lessons)
Learn how to do traditional hand-quilting. A technique class.

Diamond Hexagon - $45 (by Ann-Maree)
Hand-piecing class. The dates for this ongoing hand-piecing class will be on the second Wednesday evening of the month, this term.

A 'Tote For All Reasons' - $35 (by Lynne, 2 lessons)
Lynne's new bag is suitable for lots of uses. It has many pockets and is free-standing.

The Cupcake Bag - $65 (by Rondel, 4 lessons)
Rondel made this bag as a sewing bag, but after seeing it in the flesh, it would also make a great bag for little girl's room to house her special treasures.

Cute Raincoat for a 2-3 year old - $48 (by Rondel, 3 lessons)
When Rondel saw the plastic coated red dotty fabric with cakes, she immediately could see her little granddaughter wearing it as a raincoat. The pattern will fit a 2-3 year old, and Rondel can make adjustments.

Advanced Machine Quilting, A Whole Cloth Quilt - $90 (by Cheryl, 2 days)
In this class, you will make a whole cloth quilt with a star in the centre, stitched with straight line quilting and free quilting in the 4 corners.

• Sundays: Aug. 23 and Sept. 6 (10:00am-3:00pm, BYO lunch)

 

Friday Night Quilters - $15/session (by Ann-Maree)
This is a pay-when-you-come group. For those who need help starting of finishing a project. Come to one session, or all. Booking is essential so we don't become overcrowded.
