A quick little cot quilt featuring a colourful peacock, and a parade of elephants. Use brights or soft pastels with gold patterning. The peacock design uses bias binding strips, but can also be made with ric rac for a quick and easy beginner's quilt.

The elephants have ears that flap, and you can decorate their saddle blankets with beads or colourful stitching.
