Learn to Knit

Duration: 3 x 2hr Lessons
The aim of this course is to teach the basics of knitting which can be used in creating garments. We shall be making two washcloths and one scarf over the three lessons.
Supplies needed: 4.00mm straight needles or 60cm circular needles

Learn to Crochet

Duration: 3 x 2hr Lessons
The aim of this course if to teach the basics of crocheting which can be used in creating garments. We shall be making two washcloths and one scarf over the three lessons.
Supplies needed: 4.00mm crochet hook

Learn to Knit Socks (With Magic Loop or DPNS)

Duration: 3 x 2hr Lessons
During these classes, you will be introduced to the techniques required to make your own socks. Each week we will focus on a feature starting with caston on and working in the round, heel and heel turn and finally toe and grafting using kitchner stitch. At the end of the classes you will have completed one sock and be well on your way to finishing the second.
Supplies needed: 2.5mm dpns or 80cm / 100cm circular needles

Learn to Knit Socks Two at a Time (with Magic Loop)

Duration: 1 x 2hr Lesson
During this class you will be introduced to the technique which will allow you to complete two socks at a time. No more second sock syndrome. By the end of the class you will have cast on two socks and will ready to finish them at the same time.
Supplies needed: 2.50mm 80 / 100cm circular needles

Lace Knitting V1 (Scarf)

Duration: 3 x 2hr Lessons
During these classes you will be introduced to the concepts of lace knitting including provisional caston, reading charts and blocking. At the end of the classes you will be well on the way to completing a lace scarf.
Supplies needed: 4.00mm needles

Lace Knitting V2 (Shawl)

Duration: 3 x 2hr Lessons
During these classes, you will learn the techniques required to make a triangular shawl. These include provisional cast on, reading lace charts and blocking. At the end of the three weeks you will be well on your way to complete a family heirloom.
Supplies needed: 3.00mm or 4.00mm needles

Technical Support

Duration: 3 x 2hr Lessons
This course aims to support the Intermediate knitter in commencing their first project, or assistance with a more complicated pattern.
Supplies needed: Pattern and yarn for your selected project (can be chosen during the first lesson)

Children's Holidays: Learn to Crochet - Lace Bookmark

Duration: 1 x 2hr Lesson
We shall be making a lace bookmark which incorporates a variety of introductory crochet stitches.
Supplies needed: 2.50mm crochet hook

Children's Holidays: Learn to Crochet - Book Bag

Duration: 1 x 2hr Lesson
During this class, we shall be making a functional rectangular bag used to hold larger items for example, library books, school stationery, craft projects etc.
Supplies needed: 4.00mm crochet hook

Children's Holidays : Learn to Crochet - Dilly Bag

Duration: 1 x 2hr Lesson
During this class, we shall make a circular drawstring crocheted bag that can be used to hold treasures.
