Soy Wax Facts

Paraffin wax is derived from crude oil. Paraffin wax contains 11 documented toxins. Two of which are known to be carcinogenic.

Pure Soy wax is made from hydrogenated soybean oil, which comes from a renewable source. Chemicals are not used in the manufacturing process.

Essence soy candles are made using only premium grade Pure Soy Wax, we do Not use synthetic additives to enhance the candles performance.

Essence soy candles are made with lead free cotton wicks. Candles made in China or Taiwan use wicks which may have concentrations of lead, greater than 0.06% lead by weight, which is banned in Australia.

Soy wax melts at a lower temperature therefore will last longer and is safer to handle.

Essential Oil Candles produce a lighter aroma than standard fragrant candles.

Essence soy candles are scented all the way through!

Soy Candle Safety

Do not leave burning candles unattended.

Keep candles out of reach of children.

Ensure candle is on a stable heat resistant surface and in a draft free area.

For optimum performance trim wick to approx 5mm before lighting. Re-trim wick before re-lighting.

Always burn candle for minimum of 3 hours and do not move once alight.

If candle flickers or produces soot, extinguish, cool, trim wick and re-light.

Avoid blowing out your candle. Extinguish your candle by dipping the
wick back into the wax.
