What If I Want to Buy More Yarn Than What is Showing as In Stock?
At Knitter's Addiction we are ALWAYS getting in new stock. If you see an item and you want to buy more than what is listed as in-stock then please contact us straight away. It may already be on its way to us from our supplier or we can get it special ordered for you straight away.


What Payment Types are Accepted at Knitter’s Addiction?
Currently we accept payment by direct bank deposit and PayPal. Our website is 100% secure so you can use us with confidence.

 

How Secure is the Knitter’s Addiction Website?
At Knitter’s Addiction we use the latest technology to protect your private information at all times. All information you give us will be treated with confidentiality. No names, emails or addresses will be sold to anyone.

 

What if the Colour Looks Different on My Monitor?
We take all of our photos with a brand new top of the line digital camera and the photos are as true to life as possible. All of our photos are checked on several computer monitors before they are put on our site. If you are not happy with the colour you have chosen we are more than happy to exchange the item. Please note that with exchanges, the buyer is responsible for all new shipping charges. Also, the buyer must make sure the item arrives back to us in undamaged, unused condition.

 

How Soon Will Items Be Shipped Once My Order is Placed?
All in-stock items are shipped by the next business day. When an item is not in-stock you will be contacted as to how soon it will be available. In most instances your item will already be on its way to our shop. Most items will be available within 7 to 30 days and shipped to you promptly upon arrival at our shop. Please note that many of our gorgeous yarns are coming from overseas locations because we want to source you the finest and most unique fibres available.


What Domestic Australian Shipping Services are Available and How Long Does Domestic Shipping Take?
Shipping time varies by the service you choose.

  • Regular Domestic Australia Post Shipping normally takes 3 to 7 business days.
  • Regular Domestic Australia Post Registered Shipping normally takes 3 to 7 business days.
  • Express Domestic Australia Post Shipping normally takes 1 to 3 business days.

 

If you require express shipping or insurance please contact us for the prices. All Austalian orders over AUD$100 will be shipped via Registered Post in order to ensure your items arrive to you safely. In addition to this, all Australian orders over AUD$300 will be shipped with Registered Post and additional insurance to protect your lovely yarns and notions.

 

Should You Purchase the Optional Insurance with Postage?
At Knitter’s Addiction we take the utmost care and all items leave our shop in perfect condition in secure packaging. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND the use of insurance as we cannot be held responsible for any damaged or lost items if you do not purchase insurance.

 

All International orders over AUD$300 will only be shipped with insurance to ensure your items will arrive to you safely. All Australian orders over AUD$300 will be shipped via Registered Post WITH the additional insurance to ensure your items arrive to you safely.

 

Unfortunately, how different postal systems or Australia Post handle your items is out of our control and we take no responsibility for their actions. Having insurance will protect you from any issues that may arise once your item leaves our shop.


Does Knitter’s Addiction Allow Returns or Exchanges?
Knitter's Addiction will gladly exchange items but we do not refund any purchases. Within 30 days of purchase, exchanges are allowed but the buyer will be responsible for all new shipping charges.

 

If the item is exchanged for an item which is more expensive than the original item, the buyer must pay the difference in price. If the item is exchanged for an item which is less expensive than the original item, the buyer will receive a credit to be used toward any shipping fees.

 

Merchandise must be received back to us in its original condition and completely unused in order to complete the exchange. Please ensure you repackage the items securely when posting back to us as damaged goods will not be accepted for exchanges.
