The lucious lampworked glass beads and silver clasps in this jewellery were made by artists Kimmyg and Bev Butler from Northcoast Beadmakers. Going into this website is like a young child going into a lolly shop. The colours, shapes and sizes are sooo gorgeous and yummy you just have to buy. I find the website is very informative and so easy to navigate even for a computer tragic like me. The profile of each artist is excellent and the pictures of each item are very true. This design is by Anna Elizabeth Draeger, and appeared in Bead & Button magazine in 2006. I have used a focal bead designed and made by KimmyG, and to complement the colours, I have made the necklace out of jet, clear crystal AB, and Siam Swarovski crystals, with sterling silver findings. I used 2 strands of flexible beading wire .010, and a silver toggle clasp ( for my arthritic fingers ! ).

I have had the greatest pleasure in my transactions with North Coast Beadmakers. When this focal bead arrived, it wasn't the same colours that appeared on my monitor, so Kim made me another one in my chosen colours. I find their service is excellent.
